Design Process
The skate culture’s inclusivity and diversity inspire me as a designer and as a human. In skate spaces I have found that people are tolerant and open to skaters of all backgrounds and identities. Skating really is for everyone!
I drew up these simple characters as an example of creative marketing material for a sports or skate-adjacent business. I chose to use hand-drawn textures and a simple iconic style for a rough yet cute DIY appeal.
